It is normal for memory foam to soften over time, which is something important to keep in mind.
The warranty does not cover any depressions less than 1.5 inches. For the longest life of your mattress, we recommend using it on a frame with a box spring, platform, or slatted frame with the slats 4 inches apart.
We also recommend regularly rotating it 180 degrees (from head to foot, without flipping it over) every time the sheets are changed or whenever you feel it is needed, promoting even weight distribution.
If you feel like your mattress has a lasting depression of more than 1.5 inches, we will need the following information:
- Place a straight edge (such as a yardstick or broom handle) across the mattress. Then, using a ruler, measure the depth of the depressed area, without applying any pressure, and then photograph the measurements.
- A picture of the entire mattress
- We need to see what kind of foundation the mattress has been placed on. You will need to remove the mattress from its foundation to take this picture.
- Photos of the 2-3 white law tags located along the bottom of the mattress.
- A copy of the purchase receipt
You can also use the video below as a reference if you are not quite sure about how to show the lasting indentation through the photo.
Once you have compiled that information, you can send us an email at info@lucidmattress.com.
